The Kick-Off to Summer Bash Recap
MCC organized the event in partnership with No Longer Bound, the Bristol Township School District, the Bucks County Health Improvement Partnership, the Pennsylvania Immunization Coalition, and the Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Association of Pediatrics. Eric’s Rx Shoppe provided the community with COVID-19, RSV, Pneumonia, and Tdap vaccines. The event offered community resources, fun activities, performances, and an exciting raffle.
Two of a Kind hosted multiple educational performances where they sang about the importance of being vaccinated while also reading books about immunization to the children and their families.
Thank you to our wonderful table hosts who spent the day sharing their programs and services with our event attendees: Bucks County Community College, Bucks County Suicide Prevention Task Force, PA Office of Child Development and Learning, Bucks County Health Improvement Partnership, Bucks County Drug and Alcohol, Fostering Hope PA, Bristol Township School District, Child and Family Focus Inc., Heritage Conservancy, Community Services for Children, Bucks County Children & Youth Foster Care and Volunteer Program, and Maternal and Family Health Services.
Our free-to-enter raffle was a success as well thanks to the generous donations from Chick-fil-A Oxford Valley Road, Pretty Bird Coffee/Vault Brewing Co., Richman's Ice Cream, Jake's Eatery, Yardley Ice House, Silly Spoons, Penn Cinema, Hops/Scotch, Thunderbird Lanes, Lily's Chocolate Paradise, Game Gallery, Shady Brook Farm, Giovanni's Dillicious Pickles, Mercer Museum & Fonthill Castle, and Bowlero.
We are grateful we were able to bring the community together for a day of summer fun! Stay tuned to our event calendar and social media pages for more upcoming events.
