Maternity Care Coalition (MCC) has internship and volunteer opportunities available! These opportunities provide valuable skills and knowledge in maternal and child health.
MCC aims to engage various students and volunteers across disciplines and education levels interested in maternal and child health. Our internships and volunteers provide meaningful experiences that leave each person feeling fulfilled.
We currently have opportunities available within our Direct Service, External Affairs, Administration and Operations, and Research and Evaluation teams.
Our Direct Service team consists of expertly trained community health workers focused on building trusting relationships with families in the surrounding community.
The External Affairs team comprises the Communications, Marketing, and Public Relations; Fund Development; and Policy and Advocacy teams. Our External Affairs team works on brand visibility and awareness, securing funding, and advancing maternal and child health and early education policy. Our Administrative and Operations team supports compliance with administrative policies, procedures, and operations. The Research and Development team evaluates the effectiveness of MCC's home-visiting program and contributes to the evidence base of state and national home visiting effectiveness.
All our teams, working in tandem, support MCC's mission of improving the health and well-being of pregnant women and parenting families and enhancing school readiness for children 0-3.
