MOMobile® Health and Parenting Education Groups: Bonding with Baby Basics
Classes start in October, and virtual and in-person options are available!
Healthy Start now offers community parenting groups for those planning to become pregnant, currently pregnant, or have a child
under age three
Our Healthy Start Bonding with Baby Basics group supports parents in establishing a close, nurturing bond with their infant while providing self-care and advocacy tips.
This 6-week course includes six sessions:
- Session 1: Attachment and Bonding
- Session 2: My Child’s Journey of Development
- Session 3: Safe Sleep Practices for Babies and Toddlers
- Session 4: Nutrition (Breastfeeding, First Foods for Infants)
- Session 5: Managing Stress Overload and Self-Care
- Session 6: Support Networks, Father Involvement, and Community Resources
You are eligible for services if you:
Are planning to become pregnant, currently pregnant or have a child that is under age three
AND
You live in one of the following zipcodes: 19001,19027,19121,19122,19127,19132,19134,19136, and 19149.
Parents and caregivers can receive a $100 gift card upon completion of all six classes or a $15 gift card per session.
