On why Patty volunteers her time on MCC’s Board, she shares, “I feel a deep sense of commitment to Maternity Care Coalition because this organization supported me nearly a decade ago when I became a first time mother without a strong support system. The support, care, and compassion I received left a lasting impact on my life. My continued service reflects both profound gratitude for the care I once received and a dedication to ensuring that families across Pennsylvania have the compassionate support and resources they deserve during pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood. I believe in the work MCC does, and I want to be a beacon of hope who helps continue advancing this mission for other birthing and parenting families in Pennsylvania.”
