How JoAnne Fischer Continues to Make a Lasting Impact for MCC
Supporting MCC’s Past, Present, and Future
As MCC’s Founding Executive Director, JoAnne Fischer understands the critical importance of our mission more than most. JoAnne stated, “one of the most vital things we can do is support pregnant people and families of young children. Their health and wellbeing are the bedrock of our society and our communities.” We couldn’t agree more.
During her tenure, she saw MCC’s staff grow from 3 to 150 and oversaw MCC’s expansion from grassroots advocacy into direct service delivery. Since her retirement in 2017, MCC has continued to build on this strong foundation. Today we serve over 5,000 families annually through a range of comprehensive, client-centered services, and last year we distributed over 29,000 supplies including diapers, wipes, formula, and menstrual hygiene and reproductive health items.
Amid this growth and change, two things have not wavered: MCC’s commitment to creating an equitable future for all, and JoAnne’s commitment to philanthropically supporting MCC.
That is why she is a proud Founding Member of MCC’s Impact Giving Society.
The Impact Giving Society honors forward-thinking donors, like JoAnne, who have chosen to make a planned gift to MCC.
“I give to MCC annually, but having been the executive director, I know how important it is to count on long-term resources, too. Planned gifts help MCC as they continue making a difference for families long into the future.”
The generosity of these donors helps sustain MCC as we collectively work toward our intended impact: a world where all parents can birth with dignity, parent with autonomy, and raise babies who are healthy, growing, and thriving.
Join JoAnne to make a lasting impact for MCC.
“There is so much struggle, but the joy of parenting and supporting parents must persist. MCC is out there making a positive difference that we all need to see and feel right now. Making a planned gift is now I’m showing my commitment for the long-term.”
Confirm your intentions to make a planned gift to MCC between October 2025 and October 2026 (the inaugural year of the Impact Giving Society) to join JoAnne as a Founding Member.
