About Us

Our Story

Since 1980, Maternity Care Coalition has assisted more than 100,000 families throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania, focusing particularly on neighborhoods with high rates of poverty, infant mortality, health disparities, and changing immigration patterns. We know a family’s needs change as they go through the pregnancy and their child’s first years and we offer a range of services and programs for every step along the way.

Our Mission
The mission of Maternity Care Coalition is to improve maternal and child health and well-being through the collaborative efforts of individuals, families, providers, and communities in Southeastern Pennsylvania.

Our Vision
MCC envisions a future in which all families receive solid support throughout the critical period of pregnancy through age three in a manner that enables lifelong health and well-being.

  • Each child is welcomed
  • Each person is nurtured and achieves their full potential
  • Parents and guardians are empowered to care for themselves and their children
  • Communities understand and act upon the imperative to provide systematic support

As a result, all families and individuals are healthy, connected, and economically self-sufficient and all children thrive and are ready to learn.

Our Core Values
Achievement: We believe that individual growth is directly related to the success of the organization. Therefore, we are committed to fostering an environment where our staff has the resources and support to do the best in their jobs while strengthening and encouraging families.

Our Donors

Our donors help the MCC heart beat. Without donors who selflessly share their resources, time, and connections, we could not provide the support our clients need. We are especially thankful to our Carnation Club members, who are individuals and families who pledge to donate $1,000 or more each year. If you are interested in becoming a member, contact Jessica Borger for more information.
