MCC seeks an experienced Senior Leader as Vice President of External Affairs responsible for:

  • New business development, fund development; marketing & communications; public policy & government relations.
  • Strategic partnerships with academic and research organizations, health care institutions and managed care organizations and other key community organizations and funding partners.

A Bachelor’s degree required and Masters preferred with a minimum of five years of progressive related work experience, preferably in the nonprofit sector. Director of Early Learning

A Master’s degree or post graduate degree in Early Childhood Education, Developmental Psychology or related field and 3+ years’ experience in program planning and monitoring is required.

Director of Organizational Development

MCC seeks an experienced Director of Organizational Development to manage and support the assessment of organizational needs and the design, implementation and evaluation of programs that facilitate the professional development and continuous learning of all MCC staff. This position may be filled as a part-time or full-time position.

A Master’s Degree in organizational development, social work, human resources, counseling or related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience; a combination of education and experience may be considered; SHRM/HRCI Certified Professional and or Training Generalist certification preferred.

Development and Events Coordinator

Maternity Care Coalition is seeking a Development and Events Coordinator to join the Fund Development and Marketing Team. The Development & Events Coordinator will support fundraising activities that further the organization’s mission. The Coordinator also provides oversight of all individual, group and event-based volunteer activities and assignments.

This position will work closely with the Development Manager, the Director of Fund Development and Marketing (FDM), and the FDM team to provide ongoing support with fundraising, event logistics, and database management. The Coordinator must be equally comfortable and capable working with internal and external stakeholders. The Coordinator will also coordinate a large-scale in kind donation drive and matching program leading up to the holiday season.

Qualified candidates will have excellent analytical, project, time management skills and people management skills. Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Experience with eTapestry or other donor/constituent relationship management platforms preferred.  A Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent experience required.

EHS Parent Engagement Associate | South Philadelphia

The Parent Engagement Associate (PEA) provides general support and training to center based parents in the Early Head Start program. The  PEA is responsible for organizing monthly parent meetings which provide resources and workshops for parents. The PEA is also responsible for maintaining and supporting the EHS male involvement initiative.  The Parent  Engagement Associate assists enrolled families in their efforts to improve the condition and quality of life and access critical health and human services. The  PEA provides support and education for maintaining good health and promoting child development. Services extended to families may also include referrals, educational and recreational programming, crisis intervention and advocacy. The  PEA coordinates and delivers services to center based families as well as to families transitioning into other programs and/or service delivery options. The  PEA is expected to provide services to families of up to 48 children enrolled in EHS classroom program.

We seek a motivated individual who is knowledgeable about community resources, and has strong written and verbal skills.  Bachelor’s degree in human service or related field, or background in case management; a valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required. Bilingual required.  Candidates should also be self-directed and flexible and have good record keeping and organizational skills, experience helping families set and achieve goals and the ability to work well in groups.

Case Manager | Healthy Families America (HFA) Advocate III

MCC seeks a full-time Case Manager responsible for providing in-home case management services to pregnant and newly parenting women including: assessment, referral, follow-up, monitoring and emotional support.   The Case Manager screens women for depression; helps clients access and utilize all necessary health and human services; helps women maintain their families’ primary health care; facilities educational activities to promote healthy child growth and development, to foster bonding and attachment; maintains careful records of all client contacts both in a paper file and in an online data base.

This position is located in North Philadelphia.  Bilingual English/Spanish Candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

Healthy Start is a national program with the overall goal of addressing infant mortality, low birth weight and racial disparities in perinatal outcomes. MCC seeks a Case Manager responsible for providing culturally sensitive home visiting, health education and case management services to pregnant and newly parenting women including: assessment, referral, follow-up, monitoring, emotional support, and needed supportive services.

Qualified candidates will have knowledge of maternal child health or other community health issues; experience providing services in a community setting; and excellent communication skills. Valid driver’s license and Associate’s degree required; and Bachelor’s degree in social work, public health or related field preferred. Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
