Director of Finance

MCC seeks a full-time Director of Finance responsible for providing support in the management and oversight of the Finance Department, which includes: accounting, budgeting, payroll, accounts payable, cash management, grants management, and financial reporting and transparency. This position provides support for the implementation of policies and procedures for the agency ensuring that financial reporting requirements are met and all obligations are fulfilled.

The Director of Finance will report to the VP of Finance and Administration, under limited supervision will contribute to the management of department activities and services, coordinating work plans and personnel needs; overseeing various accounting and financial management functions; and interfacing with other agency employees and consultants.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or MBA preferred. Six (6) plus years increasingly responsible in finance/accounting, preferably in nonprofit; supervisory experience preferred.

Cribs for Kids Advocate I

MCC seeks a full-time Advocate for their Cribs for Kids program. The Advocate will conduct community education and outreach to pregnant and parenting families with a focus on SIDS risk reduction and safe sleep through home visits and educational workshops. The Advocate will also provide administrative support to the program.

Qualified candidates will have knowledge about the community resources, an interest in maternal and child health, excellent communication, organizational and computer skills and the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

High School Diploma required. Valid Driver’s license and driving experience required. Individuals who speak multiple languages are encouraged to apply.

Early Head Start (EHS) Advocate II (Bilingual in English/Spanish)

MCC Seeks an Advocate for the Early Head Start program to conduct home visiting with pregnant women and families with young children ages 0 – 3 to provide health education, connect them to needed health care and other community resources and promote child development. The Advocate maintains relationships with identified clients and provides support via weekly home visits. They will also attend community meetings and trainings, keep accurate written records; and uses organization database.

MCC seeks a full-time Case Manager responsible for providing in-home case management services to pregnant and newly parenting women including: assessment, referral, follow-up, monitoring and emotional support.   The Case Manager screens women for depression; helps clients access and utilize all necessary health and human services; helps women maintain their families’ primary health care; facilities educational activities that support healthy child growth and development,  bonding and attachment; maintains careful records of all client contacts both in a paper file and in an online data base.

This position is located in Montgomery County (Penn North).

Associate’s degree required, Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, counseling, public health or closely related field preferred. We seek an individual with excellent organizational, time management, and people skills. Must have strong oral and written communication ability; problem solving skills; knowledge of community resources; experience with children, and an interest in maternal and child health.  Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required. Bilingual (French/Spanish/Arabic) candidates are encouraged to apply.

Riverside Program Coordinator

MCC seeks a self-motivated individual to fill the Coordinator position in our prison-based program. The Coordinator will provide administrative oversight of Riverside services and collaborate with the Riverside Correctional Facility staff. The coordinator will also maintain a reduced caseload providing culturally sensitive group education and case management to pregnant and newly parenting incarcerated and formally incarcerated women. Services will be provided at the Riverside Correctional Facility and during home visits. The successful candidate will also provide doula or labor support services on an on-call basis. Interest in maternal and child health and ability to work in a team environment desired. Master’s degree in social work or related field preferred. Bachelor’s degree required. Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required.

Safe Start Case Manager

MCC seeks a self-motivated individual to fill an Advocate position within the Safe Start MOMobile program. The Advocate will provide culturally sensitive in-home case management and patient navigation services to medically high risk pregnant women, including assessment, referral, follow-up, monitoring and needed supportive services. In this role, Advocates receive in-depth community health worker and doula training, among other trainings.

Qualified candidates will have experience living in Philadelphia communities served by MCC programs; knowledge of maternal child health or other community health issues; experience providing services in a community setting; and excellent communication skills. An Associate’s degree is required. A degree in social work, counseling, public health, nursing or a closely related field is a plus. Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required.
